Global rebrand for a leading international development organisation.
VSO are a development organisation who specialise in sending skilled volunteers to areas in need. We won a pitch to rebrand their entire company from the ground up, including their visual identity and tone of voice, in tandem with their internal design team.
After a thorough brand audit and research phase lasting several months, we developed a new identity for them based on the catalytic effect that their volunteers have on the areas that they are sent to. This was supported by a contemporary typeset and colour palette that gave the brand real energy.
In terms of tone of voice, we developed a forceful, intellectual and at times confrontational identity to differentiate them from the softly-spoken nature of many other companies in the same sector, and rolled this out over a variety of platforms and executions, including a comprehensive brand book.
