Zero 7 - The Garden
Art direction, packaging design and accompanying campaign for 'The Garden', the third album from award-winning electronica duo Zero 7
A very personal and collaborative project, I was able to work closely with the group on the design for this album and its accompanying campaign, based largely on compositions from an artist friend of theirs, who specialised in collages of found items. The central visual idea of a featureless exterior giving way to a lush and inviting interior ended up working really well, especially on the limited edition digipack format of the album. This concept was then rolled out across two single releases, print and outdoor campaigns, point of sale materials and merchandise.
